Fully Funded Finland Government Scholarship 2023-24

The Finland Government Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that is open to all international students who want to apply to study for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finland.  A joint application is available, where one can apply for up to 6 programs in one application form for 2024. All the study programs are offered in English. 

There is no application fee.

How to Apply
The application process must be completed online. There is no separate application required for Finland Government Scholarship. By default, your application will be considered for scholarship when you apply for admission.

Eligibility

Applying candidates must possess a master’s level degree from an accredited university before they apply and must have the intention to pursue a postgraduate or master’s degree as a visiting student, participate in research projects or teach at a university or public research institute in Finland. The candidate must be able to demonstrate good oral and speaking skill in languages that are needed in the university.

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Copies of the latest diplomas or academic transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Motivation or interest in cooperation from an academic supervisor
  • Language certificate (Finnish, English or Swedish)
  • Statement of research proposal
  • A complete and signed application form
